2027 Mysteries Await at Your Library

Case #DINO-001 Status: Unsolved

Our newest next-generation dinosaur has gone missing, and your library is the last known location. Kids become Dino Detectives for the day — examining fossils, following clues, and working alongside a live Dino Ranger to crack the case, all while coming face-to-face with real, roaring dinosaurs along the way. It’s hands-on science, storytelling, and adventure built specifically around this year’s national summer reading theme.

Stevie meets with friends from Campbell County Library at their Summer Reading Grand Finale Street Fair.

How the program works:

  • The Investigation (30–40 minutes): Kids examine fossils, follow clues, and help our Dino Ranger Detective piece together what happened to our missing dinosaur — with live dinosaurs appearing throughout the story.
  • The Meet & Greet (remaining time, ~1 hour total): Once the case is cracked, kids get up close with our dinosaurs for photos and hands-on interaction.

What your library gets:

  • A complete, ready-to-run 1-hour program — no prep required on your end
  • Multiple live dinosaurs featured throughout the show
  • A hands-on science angle (fossils, clues, investigation) that fits summer learning goals, not just entertainment
  • A customized Dino Detectives promotional PDF flyer to your library
  • Fully insured, veteran-owned — Certificate of Insurance available for your system’s booking requirements

Perfect for Libraries, Camps & Daycares

Dino Detectives was designed around the 2027 library summer reading theme, but it works just as well for summer camps, daycare programs, and rec centers looking for a hands-on, story-driven dinosaur experience.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the program?

About 1 hour total — a 30–40 minute interactive mystery show followed by a dinosaur meet & greet.

Yes! While Dino Detectives was built around the 2027 library summer reading theme, it’s a great fit for any summer group program.

Yes, DinoQuest Adventures is fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance for your library, school, or organization.

Now! Libraries and summer programs typically finalize vendors months ahead of the season — we recommend booking as early as possible for summer 2027 to guarantee your date.

We love large crowds and easily adapt our post-show meet-and-greet to a high-energy group photo format for crowds over 150. However, if your library routinely anticipates massive turnouts, we highly recommend booking multiple back-to-back shows. This allows us to split the crowd, keep the audience size intimate, and provide a much more personalized, one-on-one experience with our dinosaurs!

We highly recommend a dedicated indoor space for our live dinosaur shows.
While we can and do perform outdoors, intense summer heat heavily impacts our performers’ stamina, and unpredictable weather introduces rain risks for our electronic equipment. If an outdoor setup is your only option, we require the following to ensure a high-quality show:
  • A 20×20 covered or shaded area to protect the performers and gear from direct sun and heat.
  • A reliable power source near the performance area.
  • An indoor backup plan in case of rain or extreme heat on the day of your event.
